Northampton Concert 3 December 2010

After a week of unseasonally early snow and ice, which still gripped some parts of the country, the first of Lee's Midlands 'double-bill' was a very welcome winter-warmer!

Backed by his band (with Richie Blake standing in for Oroh on bass), and supported by Niamh Perry, Lee entertained the Derngate with his now familiar blend of relaxed banter and stunning vocals, moving from the emotionally-charged Through the Barricades and When You Say Nothing At All to the brazen flirtation of Kiss and the powerful intensity of Close Every Door and Anthem with ease, bringing the audience to their feet on more than one occasion.

But there was more ... December brought Christmas songs, firstly Lee's 'Chestnuts' (The Christmas Song) and later 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' ... the warmth of his voice wrapping his audience in velvet and awakening the Christmas spirit in even the hardiest of cynics!

Click for full setlist - and for those unable to travel through the snow to Northampton, I hope you will enjoy the 'extras'!

But first ... a few photos:

By the time of writing, Lee's next concert at the Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham on 4 December has been and gone, the next is a Christmas spectacular at the London Coliseum on 19 December and his full concert schedule (including past appearances) can be found at - CONCERT DATES
