Lee took time out from Wicked and his own solo concert tour to perform in two sell-out concerts for Gloucestershire's WI at Cheltenham Town Hall.
Lee performed a mainly acoustic set including songs from his albums, from West End shows and couple of seasonal favourites, and was backed by the WI Choir in a spine-tingling rendition of 'Anthem' from Chess and the somewhat lighter 'Any Dream Will Do'. According to chairman of the Music and Leisure Committee, Anne Turner, he "was a hit with the WI crowd".
His full song list, performed in two sets, went like this (with grateful thanks to those lucky enough to be there):
- Paint It Black

- Gonna Make You A Star
- Collide
- The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)
- Any Dream Will Do - with WI Choir
- Anthem - with WI Choir
- Dancing Through Life
- When You Say Nothing At All
- Close Every Door
- Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

- If I Can Dream
Also performing at the Christmas concerts were young dancers from Ribston Hall High School in Gloucester and five-piece group, The Harmonies, formed from the WI Search for a Star competition.
